If the BCS had the playoff setup for 2011, what would it look like?

From the 2003 season:
"What Would’ve Happened? No. 1 Oklahoma over No. 4 Michigan, No. 3 USC over No. 2 LSU, No. 3 USC would’ve beaten No. 1 Oklahoma for the national championship."

Everyone is STILL so convinced of this, unbelievable :beatdeadhorse:

So was LSU's defense. The game was also played in NOLA, not LA...would have been a big factor.

Not really. Weakest team of their dynasty and they played nobody.

I thought in the 4 game playoff you had to have won your own division?

Right, cause its so outlandish to think one top 2 team could beat another

Jefferson hopefully gets knocked out of the first game so Lee starts the game against Bama.

They didn't have a dynasty. That typically requires winning a national championship or several conference championship games. I got them winning 0 of both since 1998.

So, who won it all in the 2004/5 season?

No. 1 LSU (SEC)
No. 2 Alabama (SEC, didn’t win conference championship)
No. 3 Oklahoma State (Big 12)
No. 4 Oregon (Pac-12)

According to this, LSU would have gotten hosed twice with two rematches. That being said, given their weak OOC competition, I'm still not sure Bama's secondary keeps OSU out of the end zone.

Which is why they would not have won in 2003 either.
