Are there any clubs that you outwardly hate but enjoy watching?

An obvious answer to this one for me is Barcelona, but that's just because FIFA makes them unbearable.

The less obvious and more tough to admit is Manchester City. I hate them because I'm a United fan, and I hate them even more because they're successfully buying their way into contention, although I don't blame them. I really do enjoy watching them play, though, and I use them a ton, along with Arsenal, to offset the Spanish God Duo clubs online. Not to mention, the only reason I haven't picked up a Swagotelli kit is because I couldn't live with myself as a traitor. That said, Monday's loss was strange. It was like I walked in on my little brother, who I love deep down but beat the shite out of because I'm the older, more muscular sibling, fricking my girlfriend, and not only that, he was doing it better than I ever had. On the flip side, it also was sort of rad because it was like I watched that same brother go from a little bitch to a dude who turned into a boss, and now the real games should begin. I always love seeing a longtime underdog take down their oppressors. Same reason I'm waiting for that one UL-LSU game where UL gets that touchdown!

So what teams do you hate, but if they're on and no one's around, you'll watch and fap just a little to?

Yes. Liverpool comes to mind. Watching the King Kenny Project unfold has been amusing to watch.

Chelsea's resurgence has been fun even though I've never liked them for any reason. You have to admit, it is inspiring.

As has United challenging Tottenham for this year's "who can melt down the fastest" award. Bonus was watching bitter old Fergie whine at Mancini and then Roberto go all Italian all over his arse on the touchline. Classic.

It hurts, but I'm a man of science and facts. I would be a coward not to admit it. United, outside of my Rooney fandom, has been boring me to tears. I've been paying much more attention to Fulham, Bolton, Charlton, Bayern, and Santos overall.

I'm a City fan, so I guess I should hate United. I strongly dislike them when they play City or teams fighting to stay above the relegation zone. However, they are so damn good, they are fun to watch too. When Rooney or Nani, or that fricking Mexican or Russian are on, they are a true sight to see.

I could not have beeen happier when Wigan beat them ( ), but really, there aren't any teams I hate.

This is kind of a throwback, but I loved following Leeds from 99-02.

Viduka, Kewell, Keane, Ferdinand, Woodgate, Alan Smith and Nigel Martyn...there was a lot of good to watch. I was ultimately happy they always fell short chasing the CL dream, but I watched every time they were on as if I was wearing one of those Nike Strongbow jerseys.

As long as I'm not a bad a Spurs fan for finding Arsenal, especially with RVP, extremely entertaining - I'd say you're OK.

RVP and Arsenal, overall, are extremely entertaining so I don't think so.

Also:

Fiorentina because of Stevan Jovetic.

He's recovered from his knee injury and may well be better than a lot (or all) of the young attacking talent you hear mentioned much more often. Will probably make a move this summer to a bigger club. I'd guess EPL but haven't really kept up with the rumors so far.

Actually, I may be wrong. Just after I posted I read on SKYItalia that he came out a couple of weeks ago saying he wants to be "Fiorentina's Francesco Totti" and bring them back to CL...

Still doubt that commitment extends through numerous mid-table seasons like Totti's but I guess it probably means a move right away isn't in the cards.

I'm not Fiorentina fan but it is good to hear great young players at least say something like that instead of flocking to Real Madrid's bench as soon as possible.
