Anyone fished coon point lately?

I know some guys that went last tuesday afternoon and caught 40 big specks and 4 reds around the rocks..I didnt see the specks but i ate some of the filets and they were pretty thick

And if you've gone west of coon point to the rigs (or know of someone who has), please lemme know. I want to make an exploratory run.

I like to hear that. Forecast is 5-10 knots which will be better than it has been.

Motorboat-I am sure we will try Enstar, maybe try the Picketts depending on the tides.

They stopped at the enstar platform first..dont think they caught any there

I havent been out there since last summer...its been rough on me but im determined to go soon

Im hoping the east winds will clear it up. Need more southeast though.

I have received good reports from the Pickets east all the way to wine island. I had two good friends limit out in less than an hour last week at the pickets. I think the fish have arrived we just need to the weather and water quaility to clear up and I think it is going to blow wide open.

I will be making my first trip out there friday or saturday. Coon point early morning with topwaters then the pickets.
