I am going to smoke 3 racks of ribs. I have an electric smoker that I can set the temp on. What temp and how long to get them to fall off the bone tender?

225 for 3 hours or when meat pulls back about 1/2 inch off end of bone. Smoke with apple wood.

I like to throw on the pit for a few minutes after smoking, unless you overcook them.

Bookmark this. It has the time and temp for everything you could imagine. I consult it before anything goes on the smoker.

I use an electric smoker as well and I do 195 for 2.5 to 3 hours. After the first 2 hours, all of the wood chips are gone. Take the ribs out, put them in a glass dish, cover with foil and put in the oven at 265 for 3 hours. Always come out perfect.
