My girlfriend runs a rescue that she started, and she's trying to come up with a logo to put on the facebook page/T-shirts/whatever. It's called Red Barn Animal Rescue. I told her I knew just the place to come to. She didn't give me much to go on however, as all she said she wanted was the name, a red barn, and maybe a cute dog  I know that's pretty vague, and I told her that more details would help, but she said to just let the experts do their thing. Soooo....can anyone throw something together? I'll try to include some source pics.
Also, these are by NO MEANS a requirement or have to be in the logo. Just throwing some images out there that might make things easier. But please, use your artistic freedom and come up with whatever the hell you think looks good.

I feel we could get a better feel for the logo if you posted pics of your girlfriend.
If you are not willing to do that, promise us you will post those pictures you talked her into taking that night she had too much chardonnay on GF Revenge when you break up because she loves animals more than she loves you.

Vol, if I could make one small request, is there anyway you can change 'shelter' to rescue, and instead of having the I want You dog just have some random log lying down in the grass?

I'll throw one out there for you. The dog is an English Springer Spaniel puppy...
I thought I would try to keep it simple so if you like it, it would transfer to shirts and other stuff easily... Feel free to have it edited in any way as well.

Changes:
Shelter -> Rescue
Pointing dog -> Googled cutest dog in the world
Clouds spreading its butthole -> Normal clouds
Let me know if you you want anything else altered or adjusted.

Wow man, that's incredible.
I think that looks phenomenal but I don't know exactly what she was looking for. I hate to be a pain since you (and rattlehead) have been so accommodating so I really don't want to keep making demands. I'll show her sometime this weekend and at worst, will maybe offer 1 little change or something.

To be honest, if you're wanting to put this logo into any kind of print (t-shirt, pamphlets, newspaper, etc...) I would go with either Rattle's or any of Nole's. I just kind of threw mine together jokingly and it's a little too busy to work as a logo. You want something as simple, yet individual and easily recognizable, as possible. But if you still want to use what I put together, let me know if you want anything tweaked.

Yours are really good! Would be great for their web site for example.
For a T-Shirt, Rattle's is nice. Simple. Easy to replicate for printing, T-Shirts etc.
