SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Why oh why did they have to kill off jimmy? I mean it was an incredibly powerful scene but he was or of my favorite characters of probably any HBO series, probably just being al swearengen. I mean I like a lot of the other cast, especially Jimmy's war buddy, but I feel like a lot of the enjoyment I got from the show was the tension between jimmy and nucky. I just felt like Michael Pitt was money on every scene he was in.

Oh wel I guess. When does season 3 come out?

The way his story was going they almost had to. There wasn't going to be any recovering from how deep he had gotten in IMO. I believe there was also talk that Michael Pitt had become incredibly tough to work with and was having some major off the screen issues.

I hated them killing him off but I'm hoping it maybe ends up with a bigger role for the Irishman (Margaret's fwb). It'll still be enjoyable and going to be interesting to see Nucky now that he "went there".

We had a big thread on this the day after the finale. Alot of people were upset as well, but the silver lining of it all is that season 2 will be all about the reign of capone, and that shite will be fantastic.

Yea probably had to happen that way. I think even jimmy said right before nucky shot him that this is the only way it could end, and thinking back on the scene, it's almost like he kinda knew it would happen before he went, hence him stopping his friend from coming.

Yea there is still plenty of stuff left unresolved. What is nucky gonna do when he finds out Margaret is bangin the Irish dude?

Wonder how far they plan on getting into al Capone?

Edit: just say te poster above me. So it will have a lot to do with Capone. That's good to hear I think. Just don't know if I like capones actor being a lead as much as Pitt, but he is a good Capone. Dude always plays a good gangster

They needed to show Nucky getting his hands dirty, and they went big with it. I was a little shocked, but after thinking back, I really think Jimmy knew it was coming, and had already made peace with it.

I have watched that show now for 2 seasons and I just don't like it. For some reason television shows based on reality don't do it for me because I know what is going to happen and if they make things up I tend to get upset. I love movies based on reality but I just can't seem to jump on board tv shows.

am I the only one that feels this way? Believe me when i tell you I have tried to force myself to like the shows and watched them over and over but it just doesn't work.

I was tired of Jimmy. The actor was trying waaayyy to hard to be the "gangster".

I agree with this. I never felt the actor to be believable and I feel the same way about the guy playing Capone. On the other hand I love Buscemi in the show.
