Getting ready to up an AV system in my home.
Will the geaux zone work properly on an iPad?

I don't know what the first part of your question is, but, yes, GeauxZone works great on the iPad. Having an internet connection is either recommended or required. Either way, it works great with the internet (if you can stand Hawthorne).

Basically trying to decide on apple tv / iPad or a mini Mac connection.

For the iPad just buy the lsu app 6.99 I think. It works great

You have to have a geauxzone subscription not just the app for iPad. It works great for baseball games. I don't know how it works for football or basketball though.

I've been using the app for almost a year now and every so often towards the end of an event (but before it ends) I start getting a message that pops up and says that the live event I'm listening to has ended. I can click on the play button and it will resume the broadcast but then it cuts off and pops up that message about every 30 seconds...Most of the time I have to listen o the last inning or 2 doing that crap Anyone else have this problem?
It does it on both my iPad and my wife's new iPad so I know it's not an iPad problem. And it only does it for audio broadcast, never does it for video broadcast.

Ive ran into the same problem a few times as well. It never does it during the game just as soon as the post game starts. As you mentioned it's never happened to me while using the video function.

Spend he extra $100 and get the Apple TV. You can watch the game on the big screen with AirPlay.
