under.

That means he would need to average 229 yards per game. With the studs we have running the ball, no way he'll average that all season.

You don't think we could have 200 rush and 230 pass every game?

That doesn't seem like too much to ask to me

if he has to throw for more than 250-300 per game, that means that we are playing catch-up. i don't think that this team will be playing catch-up too much during the season. once we have a lead, we will pound the ball.

I see his yards coming in chunks. He will be passing deep and often. There could be games where he hits 3 60+ yard passes and some where he doesn't hit any. That being said, I do think its possible. But it wont be cause we pass it a ton of times.

From his work in the spring game I like him throwing deep at least 5 times a game to keep the defense off the line of scrimmage. If he can complete 2-3 a game then your looking at possibly 200 yards just right there.

I think 2500 is more reasonable.... And no way we average 400+ yds/game because we will have many short fields

He had 200 in a half in the spring game. I'd set the floor at 2400.

Yeah, I didn't think about that aspect of it. We are gonna have about 8 Ole Miss games next year

Over. They will throw the ball for at least an average between 230 to 250 yards a game.

No way Les ever becomes one-dimensional ever again.

I think it will be back and forth. Some games we will throw more some games we will run more. I see the more competitive games being more run oriented and the cupcakes we will throw early and often especially in the first half.

Mett's yards = under 2500

I'll say under, because I think our running game will set up the pass, and vice versa.
When we do pass, I think it will be more out of surprise, personnel, situations, and advantages, not out necessity, outside of the obligatory 3rd and longs.
When we have success passing, it will in turn open the run even more!

The only team we MIGHT have trouble running on is Alabama - and we ran for 150 yards on them LAST year, so I think we'll do well even in that game.
I'm going to say no more than 2400 yards passing
(12 games); probably closer to 2000 or 2100.

For an expected 14 game season, no more than 2800.

If we average about 200 passing and 200 rushing I would be pretty happy.
