Lsu needs guys to step up here. Katz and Raph are 7 for 8 today while the rest of the lineup is 3 for 21. Conversely, Kentucky has their 11 hits among 8 different guys. If we could have at least 1 other guy be hot we would have the lead. Bad thing for us is we are at 7,8,9 in the lineup going into the 9th

Part of it is we just have little guys. Is CPM intimidated by big, strong players? Seems like he never recruits any. I miss the days of us looking like a football team and crushing the ball. I don't give a shite about the bats. I understand not hitting tons of Homers, but a bunch of doubles would be nice!!!
Sick of being a scrappy team.

KY is a very good team and they were playing at home.....they wanted it just a little bit more. Hats off to them. That being said, Jacobi Jones needs to step up and be a force at the plate.

lets face it, if we don't get 15 hits a game vs good teams, we will lose.............ky beat us because they can hit in all spots and we hit into 3 double plays

I'm more concerned about our base running than our hitting. If Nola and Hanover don't frick up running the bases, we win 8-7

There was no guarantee that Nola would use scored. There were two outs.

Hmmm

Considering we didnt have 15 hits in this game, this game, this game, and this game I'm inclined to disagree with you

but they do, that's our strength and most of the reason why we're 32-9. the pitchers, despite what you may believe, are part of the team.

Really? The pitching is our teams strength? No shite. It's a shame you can't win that way.
