I completely forgot about these guys, a couple of weeks ago they were both a 1-2 round pick. Now they are a 4-5 and 5-7 round pick. I wouldn't mind picking AD in the 5th and Burfict in the 7

I wouldn't mind Denard at all.
We need some more people willing to throw down to fit our new bad boy image. And he isn't a bad CB either.
Burfict seems too fat and too slow to warrant hoping his attitude improves.

Dennard could be of help but I'd rather the Saints pick someone who is smart enough to not assault a cop less than an week before the draft starts.
And Burfict's lack of performance and horrible attitude probably wouldn't fit well in the locker room. Besides that point, why spend a pick on a LB when the Saints have signed several already this offseason?

I would take a chance on either of these guys in the rounds 5,6,or 7. The team's investment in these rounds is not really high at all, but these guys have potential. In the right situation, I think that both of these guys can prosper. For Burfict, I'd like to see him go to the Ravens or 49ers, so he can get the Harbaugh discipline, and he could learn from some of the best backers in the league. As for Denard, all he needs is some support from a good front office in my opinion.

No to Burfict at all costs. Dude is detrimental.

The guy you pick in round 7 is likely to end up on the practice squad or to get cut from the team. When you have a guy like Burfict, you might as well take a chance on a guy that could be beneficial to your football team. Little investment with a chance of some serious rewards. I'm not a Saints fan but I would take a chance on this kid.

on Burfict? seriously. I don't see him having any chance of making the team if we draft him.
Denard would probably be our dime back to start the season.

Its weird though, alot of sites agree with you but, I saw a recent player ranking (from yahoo or CBS) that still had him as 3rd best ILB! This guy still has the potential to surprise people.

these are the In Loomis I Trust category. IF they did take them, woohoo I'm excited. Carl Nicks was a 2nd Rd talent taken in the 5th because of character concerns. Ivory had some major fck ups on his resume. In the Payton era they have been very good in discerning which risk players are worth a shot. If they pass there's no disappointment.
