This GS game is scaring the shite out of me. We might have to pull another "7 players dressed out" to lose to them.

shite was cool until you called out drake in your frist thread on this board. "obviously not a real fan." Then ppl began to question you. You are a new poster on here and questioning someone's fanhood who has been on here a long time is a good way to called a flamer, alter, etc

Oh so now we've got people that agree with me? I was trying to talk about how horrible this was for our draft in the game thread last night. But it was full of numbnuts who can't see beyond the weekend.

Thankfully this was the last home game. Hopefully Gordon rests from here out and the tank is back on. If he doesn't Demps and Monty need some sense knocked into them.

hey, the Hornets won last night. stop bitching. if recent lotteries have told us anything, it's that it doesn't fricking matter where you are. if we drop to 5 and the cavs win it in the 3rd slot, then maybe ill cry. until then, sack up and stop bitching about winning games.

this is my least favorite hornets season ever. frick this dumb team and coach for giving us no pleasure all season and NOW they start winning when we're so close to a top 3 pick we can taste it.

If we drop from 3 to 5 our chances of landing Anthony Davis are gone.

God why is everybody on this board so retarded? It's not just quail man, you have a supposedly intelligent attorney who parrots this same garbage.

Past lottery results have absolutely ZERO bearing on future lottery results. You can go by statistics. And the simple, undeniable FACT is that your chance of landing the top pick is HALVED when you go from 3rd worst to 5th worst record.

DUHHHH WHICH WOULD I RATHER HAVE A 16% CHANCE OR AN 8% CHANCE DURRRRRRRR I DONT KNOW IM frickING RETARD.

Stop being stupid. Yes the chances are reduced but look at who has won the 1st pick since 2005?

quote:

2005: 6,1,5
2006: 5,2,3
2007: 6,5,4
2008: 9,1,3
2009: 3,6,4
2010: 5,6,1
2011: 8,1,6

6 out of the last 7 years the team that won the lottery was lower than 3rd.

Hey, asswipe, I defy you to find a single post in which I disagreed with your statistical analysis. Don't be a dick and don't misrepresent my position.

ETA: Now we may disagree whether or not it's a make or break issue for the franchise.

Especially considering all the rumors of Stern fixing the drafts, trends should not be completely dismissed. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather be 3rd than 5th, but dropping to 5th doesn't mean all is lost.

You're a bit animated about the subject.

Step back from the keyboard, and take a few deep breaths

will do but I just think we need Anthony Davis more than any of the other teams. With Davis, Benson, and the rebrand we'd be talking potential Saints 2006 territory next year. Everything would change.
