2 year wait for Name Change???

Heard Bobby Hebert say on the radio that it takes 2 years for a name change to actualy happen. Any truth to this??? SIAP

It will still sparingly pop up (that's if we're having a good season) just like the MT5 threads. If we have a bad season, then it will be a daily thing all season. Dammit we better win next season. My life may depend on it

If we are relying on Bobby Hebert to know anything about basketball or a ticket rep who knows no more than any of us, we are in trouble. The NBA rule is a 2 year advance notice of a name change. However, they can waive that and based on Benson's strong comments thus far, I would think he will try to get it done ASAP. Who is going to buy Hornets stuff now that he has declared the name will go away?
