Reserved seating is sold out. You can get ticket information here: CWS Ticket Information
You can buy general admissions books. The GA books, containing 10 tickets, cost $80 per book. You can also purchase single-game GA tickets for $11 each when purchased at the box office during the CWS. The problem with GA tickets is that you have to arrive for the games early (sometimes 2 hours or more in advance) and you are not guaranteed a seat. You sit in the outfield bleachers. It is probably fun, but at the old stadium, it was the hottest part of the stadium (in the sun) for most games. It is a cheap way to watch the games, but tough with kids under 10 years of age.
The best way to purchase individual games tickets is to be in line by 9:00 a.m. on game day and get in the random drawing for tickets that day. I haven't experienced this yet, but in the past (at the old park), we had to get there really early, but we always got good tickets for games that day. Now, you just need to be in line by 9:00 a.m. and they hold a random drawing for positions (no need to get there early). I'm fairly confident you will get tickets for that day at face value (I've always gotten them under the old system). This the route that I always did.
The championship series tickets are easier to get. They go on sale right after the last qualifying game at Omaha. You need to be by a computer and go to Ticketmaster right then.
Lastly, you can always find reasonably priced tickets outside of the gates of the stadium. Omaha fans love LSU fans and they will always sell extra tickets, at face value or lower, to you before the game. Just stand in front of the main entrance to the stadium.
I've been 4 times and never had tickets for any game before I left of Omaha. It is the best college sporting event at the most reasonable price. Omaha is also a great town and with the new venue downtown, it is rocking. The best thing to do right now is to try to line up a reasonably price hotel room, somewhere in the downtown area.

We jut booked the Embassy Suites across from the
Old Market. In my opinion, this is the best hotel to stay in in Omaha. This will be our eighth trip.
As far as tickets, we receive them due to our TAF number. They are normally available in Omaha, the price goes up for the national championship series.

In the past we have bought a few general admission books to use for the non-LSU games. With that you could either sit in GA secions in the outfield, or go to the ticket office in the morning (have to get in line early sometimes) and trade them up to get reserved seats. In 2009, we would trade them up to get reserved tickets for the LSU games. Like another poster said, they do a random drawing for spots in line now. A couple of years ago they didn't and we got in line at like 5 am once. Some of the scalpers were paying people to stand in the front of the line (some of them looked like homeless people IMO).
Of course in the old stadium you walk from the GA section into the reserved section and they wouldn't stop you. So you could easily find an empty seat there even if you didn't have a ticket. I doubt it is this way in the new stadium.
Tickets are hardest to get the first weekend because all 8 teams are still there. By the time the end rolls around, tickets are much easier. There were a bunch of empty seats for the Champ series in 2009.

In 2009 I bought ticket for the final 3 games on ticketnow.com.
They delivered them to my hotel room the morning I arrived.
If the series did not go 3 games I would have received a credit for the final game.

I have only gone in 09, but planning a trip this year to see the new park. They were putting in the pilings when I left in 09. I went to several games in 09 and never had a problem not getting a seat with GA section. I had to wait a few hours but there were more than enough seats. That was at Rosenblatt, but am guessing it works the same with Ameritrade. Ask some guys on the SEC rant, vandy, florida or usce.

Pussy. The 2 hour line is for getting hammered
There is NO better experience than sitting GA at the CWS with thousands of drunk LSU fans
ETA: OP just get a book of GA tickets. I think it's like $50 per book and it comes with 10 tickets. It's the best deal. You can use them all on LSU games or go check out the other games if you aren't too drunk to make them

I think they only let in the number of seats available. In the old park, it was 5,000 and I don't think it every filled up completely, but I've never sat in the GA seats. It can get very hot in Omaha in June and the cover from the other seats is worth a little extra money.

Scalpers were everywhere at the old ballpark, so you can always buy on-site if not from locals. After declining to buy from a scalper, I'll never forget him complaining to me that "LSU fans don't spend any money in Omaha". Could there be a statement farther from the truth?
Booked yesterday at a Sleep Inn (Abbott Rd) about two miles from the stadium ($134/night). Everything else topped $200, which gets pricey for 1 week plus.
