Will be going to Grand Isle in a week and wanted to know where to fish without a boat.

Elmers Island, Rocks in front of Bridgeside, rocks in front of Sureway.

Elmer's island is an easy place to go.
Not sure if you can fish off the bridge anymore, but that's also a good place at night.
The state park is actually pretty nice now and you could surf fish there.

You can catch trout off the pier in the state park - try to fish early. Also, try night fishing of the pier of bridgeside under the lights. I have caught a lot of trout there using shiny hiney's.

during the summer you can smoke the trout on the beach side of the jetties of caminada pass. Just be careful because your arse can drown quick right there
