Just a question but since Coach Jones is a LSU guy and he did go through some good times and the worst times (worst possibly out weighing the good) but anyone think he may come in and coach lights out with the feeling of something to prove and gain some respect back from the fans that do hold a lot against him? Just curious. ...I just think he will surprise a lot of us. This is bigtime for him and I'm on board 100 percent

I don't think the fans like me who started following LSU basketball beginning with Pete Maravich have any bad feelings against Johnny Jones. Only the young crowd does.

Ur probably right. I was able to watch and understand in the late 80s.. Just seems like a lot of people are down on the hire and to a certain extent understandable due to his average record at N Texas.. I for one just think it's good to get a guy with some roots in here. Hell... What do we have to lose

I'm down on him because I saw the late 90's and this entire decade, which he played a huge role in producing for me while up there evidently biding his time at UNT.

I have no interest in supporting the man who helped lay the foundation of this program's history and tradition, and then promptly helped completely destroy it.

There have been no good times for me to overlook the bad. He produced the issues of the past decade and a half that plagued our program.

Period.
