New documentary by Werner Herzog about an inmate on death row. I watched it last night and just wanted to get others opinions about the film.

I noticed that too. He just kept saying he was in the wrong place at the wrong time....7 days before his death, after he was convicted....
NOthing can be done about it anymore. Why not just come clean

I imagine he either actually believes his own lies or he's just denied it so much that he just feels he can't go back now. or some combination of both

Where else do you have to go at that point? Plus the padre is probably the only visitor they get.
