Now that it's official, let's talk about benefits of having both owned by Benson

What sort of things can we see from this, with having the same person owning both teams. Will we see coordinated efforts to promote both teams? Discounts to games, for others? I haven't really thought about it, but I'm sure there are possibilities.
For instance, if you want to buy season tickets for one group, and own season tickets for another, you get some sort of package discount?
Maybe Hornets season ticket holders can get a discount on single game tickets to Saints games?
If there is a night game on a Sunday for the Hornets, it could be just a day long party in Champions Square - start tailgating Sunday morning, go to Saints game at noon, leave and go back to CS, then go to Hornets game at 7.
What are some of the things that would be awesome for us with the news?

There will be No discounts to SainTs games. The demand is too high, but I could see discounts to hornets games for saints season ticket holders.

Maybe. I could see them calling the people on Saints waiting list and saying... "Hey, sorry we still don't have any Saints tickets for you, but, how about a deal on a season package for the Hornets while you wait."
Could even tell them that Hornets season ticket holders get moved up on the Saints waiting list.

More cross corporate sponsorships between the teams.
Hopefully this helps the whole sports & entertainment distric/area get started, along with continuing improving champions square with more hornets signage.

access to the saints season tickets list, which the hornets can use to contact and sell their tickets too.
Advertising hornets brand/tickets during timeouts of saints games.

I am sure that the Hornets will have a new practice facility either downtown or on Airline in the Saints compound.
The best part is now when Mark Cuban starts talking shite, Benson can bitch-slap him with his Super Bowl ring.

Didn't even think about that. Would be awesome. Can help build comradery between Saints players and Hornets players if they are seeing each other on a regular basis for a portion of their seasons?

Sean Payton can fill in as an assistant coach if they need one. He's looking for a gig to pass the time.

Cross promotion and joint sponsorships are a real opportunity. Plus this helps provide virtual year round use of Champions Square and whatever develops in the New Orleans Center.
But PLEASE don't drag down the Honeybees to the Saintsations level.

never understood how one became some much greater than the other...does being a honeybee pay that much more or something?

I imagine the Honey Bees and the Saintsations will have several promotional competitions. Oil wrestling, pillow fights etc.

Each team goes for a different style. The saintsations are more of the cheer leader type. They do dance of course but not as much as the honeybees. The honeybees want the hip hop style dancing girls.

The Saintsations seem like a danceline/cheerleader squad from a 1970's Christian school.

A least the honeybees are provocative, they get the people going
