Am I the only one who thinks this is a VERY BAD idea? i have a feeling that if he were to become a commentator/analyst every NFL team would be hanging on his every word to get the upper hand on figuring out his offense. Your thought?

He would spew nothing but misinformation when discussing our O. It will all be code to Drew.

There is a new vacancy in Fayetteville for him for a season.

Apparently if he does anything to offend or anger Goodell, if he so much as farts and Goodell smells it, he will have a tough time getting reinstated.

Interestingly, with the added requirement of a hearing to get reinstatement this makes Payton's suspension exactly the same as Williams. We all know they deserve equal penalties right?

Payton will not be working for fox sports, espn or any other announcers job this year.

Which i think is a great move for him to stay away from the media circus, nothing good would come from a football related job, that isn't Saints related.

Teams wouldn't want to give him the additional scouting information if he were on TV.
