| How many games does it take to see a normal curve or cycle? (Posted on 4/9/12 at 12:01 pm)
In fantasy baseball? My SPs were awful this week, but I know Cain, Bumgarner, Romero etc. will settle down. How many games before you see a good representation of the season, 30?

Man, there was this really in depth article I read once about how long does it take to see stats "normalize." But that was speaking about career arcs more than anything. For the guys you mentioned, I wouldn't worry... they've already established they are commodities... their numbers will level out.

Pitchers shouldn't take long at all. 2-3 starts. Players are different. You'll want to hold on to a vet with past production longer than a younger unknown player. I don't think good hitters need even 30 games. But every situation is different

Did I mention I also have Halladay, Beachy, and Zimmermann? Not panicking, just curious.
