Anyone used these or have any knowledge of them? I have had Meprolight and Ameriglo before for sure. Was looking to outfit my bro's new glock. The Truglo are going for about 75$ which seems to be about average for the various sights. Any other suggestions welcome.

TIA

I was lookin at TruGlo's when I got my glock 34. After I started researching them a little I read some bad things, and they have a crappy warranty. I ended up going with Ameriglo pro operator rear with the orange pro glo front site and I couldn't be happier. I've since put that same set up on my glock 19.

Whats the deal with the Pro Operator's? Where's good place to get them if I were to get them?

I bought mine from a guy through bayoushooter. I think lone wolf sells them though.

You preferred the operator over the regular pro?
$90 on one site, that about right?

Yeah, the only difference is the regular pro has a white ring around the tritium insert, whereas the operator does not.

That sounds like a good price...I think I paid about 100 installed.

Just found them for $80 each and free shipping if you spend 150...may need to get 2 so I can have an extra set for next glock I get. Thanks for the help, will more than likely order them now and try them out.

Honestly, I dont see any point in night sights. For them to light up it needs to be dark. I hope you are not shooting what you cant see. A flashlight would be better than sights.

If these are for competition, then I dont really know. The standard sights on most pistols are fine for me.

Valid point, however the green glow does help me see better in the dark. Plus you can identify a target in a low light situation while not using a flashlight, giving away your position.

Shooting in the dark. I even use mine to locate my pistol on the night stand.

In my home, with the forced entry alarm going off...Someone coming through the bedroom door is getting shot. Period. I won't be turning on a flashlight or anything else to reveal my position either.

OP: I have had Mepro Lights on my Glock for about ten years and they are still very bright.

After the first Salvo, I haven't really thought it out. It's not like I've got the element of surprise going for me anymore....So, lights may be an option.

I think I paid around 100. Glock sites are pretty easy to install, but you really need a few special tools. Most gun shops will install them pretty cheap. Most will probably install them free if you buy the sites from them.

Honestly, it takes like 5 minutes. If they dont change them out for free, then I would go elsewhere.
