Hes done a great job at Tulane and since he has been in the state he already has recruiting connections.

He has been out-recruiting LSU since he has been there.

Even with the lack of a real rivalry in recent years I doubt if we ever see LSU seek out a Tulane coach.

He seems like someone Alleva would like. Maybe because they look like brothers.

why not? bc he is at Tulane?

I only suggest him because I think he is "gettable" unlike the rest of the candidates everyone is throwing out.

No b/c I think he is alot like Trent

meaning a milk and cookies kind of guy

plus it's been the Citadel and Tulane, not really programs with expectations

I think he's done well at Tulane FWIW, just not what LSU needs right now

Plus if we get him perhaps his brother can write a book with a character loosely based on les miles.

Will he cheat like Tulane did in the '80s?

I think he's a good coach that will do things the right way but can recruit while doing so.

I think their offense is great for SEC play too.

eta: I didn't post nothing

Coach, I like Ed and do agree, his offense is solid and he has shown that he can recruit, Tulane does have some players for who they are- I just don't know if LSU fans would buy it frankly

Imagine if LSU does go this way, the 25 greenie fans will be up in arms

someone should go to yogwf.com and bring it up that he's a candidate

I think he certainly should be on the list, but there are definitely a bundle of names above his.

Some dribble drive (calipari/walberg) stuff but with some more motion principles built in.

fun/up tempo system to play in.

agree

Tarrant is a gem, if the other guard hadn't gotten injured they would have won more games, plus they have some 7ft'er that was injured or something

Conroy is a good coach, but I think he's only had one winning season as a HC and that may have been only a .500 record or so

But he is personable, makes the rounds around NOLA trying to promote the program and fans that meet him love him so maybe
