I would gladly trade any head injury to play one down in the NFL

play 1 down in the NFL on 22nd birthday and live with any head injury the rest of life, whether that be 1 day or decades.

Agreed. Even a practice squad salary is ridiculous. The fame, wealth, and notoriety is enviable.
I tore my ACL playing a game of pick-up basketball and had to do a 25,000 dollar surgery and go through months of rehab. I don't regret it and I don't even like basketball.
