Anyone else think he needs to let go of his affinity for the bunt. He uses it way too much and usually in stupid situations. Has killed a few innings this year already

Good call, shitty execution. Scratching across a 4th run woulda been nice. Dozar a likely DP candidate, so CPM just trying to keep us out of one.

Safety squeeze. Would you have posted this if it wouldve worked? I like what Dozar's been doing at the plate lately but he needs to do the job there! At some point you can't just blame PM. The players need to be held accountable too.

It was one fricking bunt and it was a good call. Until you become the head coach at a d1 program and know as much baseball as he does you can shut the frick up.

Plus Dozar has had a real problem with LHP in his time here. I have no problem with the call.

If Dozar had swung away and hit into a double play, you and others on here would have been saying Mainieri should have called for the safety squeeze.

the one MLB player that posts here has said repeatedly that the bunting Mainieri does is stupid. But he probably knows less than posi tigers IMO.
