Assuming all the rumors are true, and Justin Hamilton is indeed peacing out of here to play pro (in NBA or Europe)...is this really our outlook for next season?

C: Johnny O'Bryant
PF: Eddie Ludwig
SF: Ralston Turner
SG: Malik Morgan
PG: Anthony Hickey

Bench: PF/SF Jalen Courtney, SG Andre Stringer, SG John Issac

So Trent Johnson still has 5 scholarships he could give out (maybe the Tuba guy gets one since he obviously won't be able to fill this class out with quality guys), but this tam is BEYOND screwed if we can't get Shavon Coleman and Norvell Pelle (more specifically Norvell Pelle because we need a big man REALLY BAD judging this lineup right now). All in all with Hamilton leaving, we look like we're in terrible shape at forward for next year if we don't land a couple of these big guys we're on.

We aren't going to be good next year. NIT bound, maybe.

13-14 wins depending on how hard the non-conference schedule is.

I dont know about yall but Im ready to get a coach who will do what it takes to get a kid like this. Im sick and tired of a dead PMAC and having no shot at the tourney.

Kid would be fun to watch

Where would they go? Neither are anywhere close to NBA caliber, and I doubt someone who had as much PT in 2011-12 as those two did would transfer.

If this happens 7-10 wins. Depends on how hard they play when Guerinoni becomes interim coach.

If Hickey and/or JOB leave and TJ gets fired, can we just get rid of the whole staff and have "Fan coaching night" every game?

guys if/when when Jham and Hickey leave, TJ should resign and or be fired immediatly. Are we suppose to wait on another rebuilding debacle. If we go into next season with the team we have as today without those two guys it will be another disaster, Malik Morgan is good player but he is not that good. As of today we have signed one player and are in the running for a couple of guys who are descent at best. TJ needs to move on and go try this project somewhere else it does not work in the SEC

He won't, but I agree.

Gregg Marshall is still available since USCe hired Martin... Can we please get him here?

Hope not. No coach worth a damn is going to want to switch this late in the game. Unless we go for somebody who's currently unemployed(Theus or Pearl) we could very well end up with a underwhelming hire like Miss. St.

Anyone is better than TJ. I for one think those guys are leaving, this team has some serious chemistry problems. The attendance has been dismal under TJ. Cutting bait now and making a good hire this time would begin the turnaround. The last two hires were made under some bad press. Brady was hired when we were on serious probation and TJ was hired after brady was fired with 8 games to go and 18 months from the final four. LSU took alot of heat from SEC coaches and most of the country basketball guys for firing the way we did. I believe LSU is a very attractive job for the right guy and hopefully we get it right the next time. I just hope next year at this time we are not having the same discussions like we had last year at this time when most people on this board felt like it was a winning SEC record and the NCAA which neither happened in his fourth year. TJ has failed up to this point and we as fans deserve a better product. There are plenty of guys out there who would take this job if we threw enough cheese at them. Our women's coach is one of highest paid in the country, there is no reason we can't be that serious about the men's job.

The same would happen if we fired Trent a week before the signing period begins and almost a month after our season ended.

The problem is a lot of BCS jobs have been open this offseason and USC is pretty much the only one who got a coach that would please LSU fans.

Illinois, a much better job, threw 2.6 mil at Shaka and he didn't blink. I don't see Smart or Marshall or Prohm wanting to leave their very stable jobs right up against beginning of the signing period.

If we add Morgan, Pelle, Hammink, and Coleman, this team is going to the sweet 16 next year.

Mickey, you are a complete joke that doesn't know shite. LSU is right now a bottom 4 program in the league and it is solely bc of Trent Johnson. Players HATE him. They would rather Brady. That says a lot.
