That's not Miles, too direct. Probably Chief.

Probably from Chief. Bill Polian said that has soon as this score leaked out, any and all interested teams would immediately contact his Coaches, and, that John Chavis is unanimously held in the highest regard amongst NFL Coaches, and, once they heard from him that Claiborne just has a learning disability, and, can handle scheme and assignments, that there wouldn't be any further hesitation regarding Mo's draft stock.

They make accommodations for those with learning disabilities.

Could be legit ... different people learn in different ways. Some learn by hearing (lecture), some learn by watching (demonstration) and some learn by doing (self explanatory). Sounds like Mo comprehends best when he can see something in action, rather than reading something.

He sounded extremely articulate in his interviews I thought. Don't know how he did so poorly on the wonderlic

I haven't taken the wonderlic test so I don't know, but there are classes and resources to help u do well on the act. Plus, the wonderlic isn't highly influential for scouts from what I hear.

From what I hear, the wonderlic is totally useless in evaluating football potential.

Why would anyone, not a quarterback put any time/effort into such an arbitrary test? His results will not suddenly create apprehensiveness among GMs considering whether or not to pick him.

The kid came in to LSU having played QUARTERBACK in high school and not only learned a completely new position on a completely different side of the ball, but mastered it. That's all the intelligence I need if I'm a GM picking a corner. His game tape speaks for itself.

I have also come to the conclusion that the Wonderlic is pretty useless. Is there a chance it is like some other traditional standardized tests that merely serve as money makers for the companies that own them, yet they have become so entrenched over the years we are stuck with them?

This certainly is not the case for Les. How else could one explain his post JJ suspension decision making/BCS play calling?

Don't forget, the Wonderlic is a timed test. Isn't it something like 50 questions in 12 minutes? Although the questions seem to be fairly easy, I'm sure when you've got approximately 10-15 seconds per question, just about everyone would freeze up on at least a couple of them. If Mo has a learning disability (and there's nothing in the quote to directly suggest that), then, yeah, it's not much of a stretch to imagine that he might struggle with the Wonderlic.
