The one thing I didn't think I would even notice is the one thing I think I like most about the patch--rented servers that are made public by the renters.
Noz and I played in a 1500 ticket Operation Metro conquest match last night that had to take close to an hour to finish.
The rented lobbies are a lot of fun and there are a ton of points to be had.

I like that they brought back the option to be revived or not. That was a great idea and they got rid of it with the Karkand patch. The bigger icons and color changes on the mini map are great.
Game feels smoother in general

Don't worry about how much, just play in the ones that are made public. You'll see them when you see them, they usually have funny names and descriptions in the server browsers. And if you want to practice flying or shooting walls to figure out the new weapon attachments, go to the rented servers that have 0 players in them. That way you can mess around and not have that affect your stats.
ETA: If you're asking if you have to pay to play in the rented servers, the answer is no. Other people rented and set them up then made them public.

When the PS3 patch released, the servers were gone pretty quickly. They said they would release more eventually, but chances of getting one today are probably pretty slim.

How are we all going to pay? Is one person just going to do it and everyone pay pal them? The last time I used paypal was when I sent you the $5 we were chipping in for lsaltee for MW or BLOPS. Not sure if we ever got it for him so use that towards it if you want.

If it's $25 a month I will hurry and buy one as soon as my patch DLs (which should be about 10 more minutes) and we can sort it out later.

this was mainly because Sony doesnt update the store in the US until about 5 or 6 in the afternoon which allowed people in Europe and Asia to rent the servers first.
