I'm sure they do, they just entered that placeholder in the truck as Minor League Guy before they entered his name into the graphic, and, the graphic was put up live before it had a chance to be edited.
ETA: Dudes working in the truck usually aren't sports geeks, they're multimedia specialists just working a job to make some cash.

I read about this from the STL paper, think the guys in the truck were screwing around with the announcers having trouble remembering everybody . In other words, it was a joke that would make sense in context.
The guy is the best position prospect they have, which probably also fits into the joke.
