Contend for the regular season SEC title every year. By contend, I mean be in the top 4-5 overall standings.

Make the SEC tournament every year.

Make the NCAA tournament every year.

Host a regional on a regular basis.

Make a super regional on a regular basis. Contend to host a super regional on a regular basis.

Make Omaha and contend for the CWS at least every 3-4 years.

Agree or disagree?

And I know "on a regular basis" is pretty vague, but you get the idea

Basically the expectations we should set. Obviously forgiving to have a down year every so often, but missing tournament 2-3 years (in a row) should put any coach on very thin ice here.

It's not so vague that realistic people wouldn't have an idea what it means.

Everything you said is reasonable and should be expected. If we had hired Tanner, that's at least where we'd be.

Pretty sure Tanner turned down the job, as did a few people

I agree w/ this. No reason we shouldn't host every year. Ok maybe give em a pass & say we should host 3 of every 4 years

Consistently hitting off speed pitching would work nicely for me.

Then we should have offered more money, it's not like we don't have it. We just had an AD at the time that wasn't willing to spend it and risk being upstaged at his own sport.

His resume wasn't that impressive. And what would have happened if he didn't get the job, he would whine and cry? Oh shite, he does that anyway.

If this program doesn't host a regional for a third straight year, at LSU that's borderline fireable. If we miss the tournament again, given the overall direction, PM should be done, IMO.

If you want to play college baseball at the very best venue, best atmosphere, with the best fan support, There is no place better. As a coach, If you can't sell a recruit on that, you need a change of profession. The down side is some people would say that the expectations are too high here and we can be a little unrealistic, but in this case I don't think we are being unrealistic..

However, the season is still very, very young. Let's see how it turns out.
