Channing Tatum has been my sleeper pic for Comedic-Action star for quite some time.

He was probably the best part of "The Dilemma"

His problem, as an actor, is he has a non-expressive face. He has to emote with words.

He is like the Hanar of Hollywood.

From one of the reviews...

"Ratings note: The film contains something to offend everyone, twice."

I definitely may have to go see this!

It still might be. Just cause critics like something doesn't mean it's good.

I still think it will be awful. Don't need a critic to tell me it won't be.

While I agree. . .and have been vehemently opposed to all comedy/movie remakes of 70's and 80's dramatic tv shows. . .

. . .the trailers look funny as shite.

Went and saw it on a free sneak peek ticket. It was extremely funny, I really enjoyed it.

I had my doubts but after seeing some of the previews that weren't shown on the trailer, I think it might actually be pretty hilarious. I will prob end up going to the theater to see it either this weekend or next weekend and that's saying a lot.

It's not even really a remake. The basic storyline is similar but they just slapped a familiar name on help boost ticket sales. I'm starting to see movie studios doing this more often. Battelship is a big example. Is it even necessary to say that Battleship is an adaptation of the board game? Maybe just so the screenwriter can throw in the "you sunk my battleship" line that everyone will anxiously be waiting for.

Saw it at midnight, it delivers. Jonah hill and tatum have great chemistry. I was laughing the whole way through. There is a great cameo as well
