We have an extremely good problem here.

Does Hill get a RS? I'd like to think so.

IMO, Ware would be the likely sub for the FB position.

Hilliard is our best RB and really needs to touch the ball more. I think Blue is our second best RB. I'm really hoping that Hilliard and Blue become our 1-2 punch and Ford be the #3 guy.

Was there a rumor of Blue moving to WR?

I'd be really surprised if he gets a RS.

This is by far the deepest and most talented backfield we've ever had... and with no seniors in the bunch we may get them all back the following season including Copeland. That's scary.

Only the Faulk, Cecil the Diesel, and Mealey trio compare as far as talent goes. Can't wait for September.

This is what Les Miles has done and I don't see him changing his philosophy.

Ford is coming off some type of leg surgery according to what Hilliard said in the newspaper. Hope he gets healthy quick.

Ware is the key. The way he looked through most of early 2011, he is clearly our best running back. He ran fast, quick, and with absolute anger. But through most of late 2011, he looked like a different guy.

The question is "Which Spencer Ware appears come September?" If it is the former version, I think he garners the lions share of carries, and heads for a 1,000 yard season (like he was on pace for in 2011 prior to his suspension). If he comes back like the latter 2011 version, he moves to the bottom of the pile (and just comes in on pass situations).

As for Hill, please note that he was taking reps at fullback in yesterday's practice.

hillard was stellar last year. though there were 7 games where he only touched the ball 5 or less times.

This may be our best, but we were stacked under saban leading into mile's first year. we had Joseph Addai, skyler green, Justin Vincent, Alley Broussard, Barrington Edwards, Shawn Jordan, Jacob Hester, shyrone carey.

06 wasnt bad eihter, you had a 5* KW and 2 highly ranked guys in CS and RM.

I noticed we started winning a lot more games when we have a loaded backfield.

Some would say, play them all until they make a great play, then make 'em ride the pine.
