It just hit me that we have to play you guys on that God awful looking court.
If you're going to be creative, do it in a good way. That court is wierd and I don't like it.

Looks like a couple buckets of paint fell from the ceiling near mid court.

Personally, I agree that it looks crappy on TV as the lights glare off it too much. However in person it looks much nicer...

Ya, the Stadium is brand new and it could not be nicer. But ya, the court, it has taken me a very long time to warm up to it. It really does look better in person. It is called, "Deep in the Woods" to honor "The Tall Firs"- our ancient CBB National Champion Team. And There are hidden images of our greatest Duck Hero Steve Prefontaine scattered in it. Can you all see the trees in it? They go all around the court with the tips of the trees touching the white paint. Look Closely...And the circled images are of this guy, "Pre" below.

Arena looks nice, just looks like in typical fashion Oregon tried to be too creative with the court.

I really like the creativity... just poorly executed IMO.

It looks like the center of the court is an island and the surrounding part of the court is lower and underwater. And not in a cool "duck pond" way, in a "wow the architect really f*cked up" way.

EDIT - but the giant "O" on the bottom of your scoreboard facing the court is awesome. Judging from the picture, does it function as a spotlight too?
