Of course, people who's QB ratings were 13-17 may not inspire much confidence - per analyst. Rodgers, however, said that as a compliment.

I used to always joke around and call Aaron Rodgers the second best quarterback in Green Bay (After Favre left of course). I'm really glad to see Matt Damon getting his respect.

Not a massive ringing endorsement, but indication that Rodgers believes Flynn is ready to become an NFL starter.

How the frick is it not?

He said that his BACK-UP is better than, at least, 17 other teams starters.

What the frick was Rodgers supposed to say he is - top 10?

That would've be ridiculous.

Of course Mr. Rodgers wants Flynn out of there. Its job security.

Where will Flynn end up if Manning lands in Miami?

When every time your back up comes in, he plays phenomenal, you're going to want him out. Matt Flynn, best QB performance in Green Bay history!

I would love to see Flynn in KC throwing TDs to Dwayne Bowe. Plus, I only live 3 hours from KC so it would make it worth the trip!

Let's not get carried away with Aaron Rodgers' comments. Matt Flynn played well in Rodgers' absence against a few teams. But, Rodgers is by far Green Bay's best quarterback. Flynn is in a position to act on an opportunity because he will not get it in Green Bay. Rodgers is an elite quarterback. There is no fear of Flynn. He supports Flynn to move on and start elsewhere because it will not happen in Green Bay. The last time I check, Rodgers is a Superbowl winner and an elite quarterback. Flynn deserves an opportunity to replicate that and more elsewhere. That is the reality. It is time for Flynn to move on and have potentially good NFL career.

Geaux Tigers!

I got taken out to the shed for suggesting it might have been faint praise on another thread. Really I just hope MF is a top 10 this time next year.

Matt Damon

Does this mean we are going to have to rewatch the old worn the F@&% out "Seperated at Birth?" graphic on every media coverage of his team like we did in '07?

And does anyone remember the sign on Gameday that year with Lou Holtz and Sylvester the Cat that said, "Seperated at Birth?" The funniest 5 seconds I have ever seen on Gameday!!!

Rodgers and Flynn are really close and good friends by all accounts. It was absolutely a compliment.

One thing I admire about Rodgers is that he had no problem going to the bench for week 17 after home field advantage was already clinched. There's no way Favre would have accepted that.
