I don't have an iPhone, but a lot of people say Angry Birds.

Try the tunein radio app. It lets you listen to local stations over the net. If the station streams over the web, u should be able to find it on tunein's search feature.
ETA: Just checked...it definitely streams 98.1 the eagle.

tunein and apps of the like are blacked out during sporting events. the stream from eagle etc are shut down and reruns are played. The only way I know about is through the Geaux Zone with the official paid app. Other schools you can find, but LSU is relentless in their money making ability;

Well that sucks.
I guess it makes sense. The advertising is gonna be local so it doesn't make sense to stream it for free to people who don't live in and around BR.
Totally forgot about the official LSU sports app. If its still $5/month it's probably a good deal even if it only gets used for a few months out of the year.

I purchase Geaux Zone video/audio for 4 months for $39.99 for baseball so I can watch the video when I am home on my laptop. I bought the LSU iPhone App for about $3 for my iPhone so I can listen to the game on my iPhone. Both work great.
