For those like myself that have considered buying the Helim but didn't like the nonexistent valley, Mathews has come out with a fix for this problem. there is an updated rubber bumper for the draw stop that is thinner than the original giving the bow a small valley at full draw. I haven't shot an updated version, but it may be enough to get me to retire my Switchback XT.

Funny, I was just thinking about this last week. I was going to ask on their forum if anyone had tried to replace it with something thinner. It had been done by people on some earlier models with a similar stop.

I'm looking forward to trying it out. I loved everything about the bow except for the lack of a valley. I just couldn't imagine hunting with a bow that wanted to take off with the slightest reduction of tension at full draw. More than likely I would have gotten used to it, but I didn't really want to take that $1000 risk.

If I could get 65lb limbs, I might get the chick bow.
