Is the DLC for Mass Effect 2 worth it?

Currently in a play through of ME and ME2 before the release of 3, and I just started ME2 and was wondering if the DLC was worth the money?

I enjoyed it. Shadowbroker is pretty money.
Question is also relative to how much money you have, and how much you like the series.

Overlord is one of the best dramatic moments of the entire series.

Just got a new job so I'm not that concerned with dropping a little bit of money, and I love the ME series... I forgot just how awesome of a game ME was until I played through it again. Thanks for the input, I'll at least get Shadowbroker and go from there

the extra missions are 100% worth it. dont bother on the extra weapons/outfits stuff. thats all cheese.

Disagree with regrds to the M-96 Mattock. Soldier build with Heightened Adrenaline Rush even on Insanity, it makes the game ridiculously easy.

you just made my point for me.
that game is not meant to be easy when on insanity

Well I think it's awesome. In the multiplayer demo it's still the tits.

The shadow broker mission is about 2 hrs of gameplay and is by far my favorite side quest in the game.

Just broke down and bought it myself. Looks like fun.

I downloaded all three of them, waiting for them to finish installing so I can play (I hate that xbox doesn't let things download while you play something else)

Kasumi and arrival... Worth the 560 ms points? Lotsb was 800
I'll prob get em anyways this weekend. In a mass effect kinda mood.
Sticking with my paragon soldier for me3. Fricken lost legion, jack, and the assassin who prays. Oh well, 30+ hours in... My renegade is only 10 hours in, gonna stick with this char

If you are nuts about the ME universe maybe get Arrival (it happens in canon whether you play it or not). In the beginning of ME3 you are on trial for the events that occured during Arrival, so play it if you want to know what happened and if not just read about it. Kasumi makes an appearance in ME3 if you had the ME2 DLC, but doesn't if you didn't get it. It's mostly superfluous stuff.

I recommend Arrival since it is the bridge between Mass Effect 2 and 3. The events of Arrival are the reason Shepard is on trial to start the game.
So if you were to get any DLC, Arrival and Lair of the Shadow Broker are the most important. Overlord isn't necessary, but is also really good.

Ok, after not playing mass effect 2 in 13 months, then tonight downloading and playing 15 minutes of this dlc, I've fallen in love again.
For anyone on the fence about playing me2 again before me3, or getting the dlc, frickin DO IT

This. I forgot just how badass ME was until I played through again... I just started a new file so I can't say much about the DLC yet, but man this game is so awesome

Oh man I'm having a blast. Playing on veteran, not insanity still challenging though. Remembered to change ammo types depending on the enemy, doin work

Make me. I actually don't play RPG's. I tried Fallout 3 and realized I like instant satisfaction. I nuked Megaton from Tenpenny Tower at dusk....man that was a pretty site to see off in the distance.
