Butler coach? Tommy Amaker?

What about Shaq -- wouldn't he be able to recruit blue-chip postmen nationwide?

We couldn't get either of those guys and I've never heard anything about Shaq wanting to coach. He could probably get a league job if he wanted that anyway.

If you're going to make a change, stop screwing around and open the pocketbook. That's what we did in football when we hired Saban. Let's get serious about roundball....

TJ is not going anywhere this season. This thread is an exercise in futility.

What would his coaching strategy be...grow to 7'2", and be huge?

Lots of good players don't make good coaches.

It would have to be someone young and with new Orleans ties. LSU has to crack into the New Orleans area to return to the old days.

Pearl would be an absolutely lights-out hire. Probably the best one that's still within reason.

Pearl would be the biggest mistake in LSU History if hired in the next two years... "Let's make an already rough recruiting situation even worse by bringing in a coach who the NCAA won't allow to recruit until 2014"

Stopping LSU from sucking is the cause. We could show them the last couple of years.
