question about FIFA for PS3

just got a PS3 and bought FIFA '10 - can you not select countries to play a World Cup if you wanted? I remember FIFA '94 for Sega Genesis you were able to but now it just seems I can only use Club teams; Am I missing something? Why would the game from 18 years ago let you do something and a new game not???

First off you should have got 12. And i cant remember but one of the years u werent able to create a tourney with Int squads. Not sure of you still can im gonna check after the usa game.

yea I'll prob go p/up 12 - only reason I got 10 was it was only $14 at gamestop
