If we get to Miami and win, does that take away the sting of 1/9/12?

I think it would. 15-20 years from now it would just be that one we lost and while it would still suck, it won't be nearly as haunting to me as a fan as it will if we don't win another one pretty soon.

Yeah everything will be alright then. It'll just suck we didn't go back to back.

if the sting of losing to UAB eventually went away....then losing in the National Championship certainly should

Only if it's against Bama and we shut them out. I think that's the only way to ever take away the sting...

nope, winning next years won't change the fact that we threw away 2011's game

If we beat bama by 14+ points and win it all in Miami?? Yep sounds good to me

Since even the 1979 loss to USC still bugs me when I think about it, I'd say the answer is no.

As long as we beat the ever-living shite out of bama next year, i don't care if we go to the Mieneke Car Care Bowl.

I just want to watch bama burn, figuratively of course, or am I serious.

Everything was alright a month ago. It's just a loss. Nobody wins them all. Plus, we'll be the top team next year to with a chance to restore order.

Cnograts, you've brought stupid to a whole new level.

ETA: We get it, you think Miles is much better than Saban.
