He is absolutely crazy to not take that opportunity.
He'll probably get more money and better coaching stability...
Did LSU piss in his cornflakes?

Maybe I'm just reading into things the wrong way, but it sounds like he wanted the job handed over. Sounds like he scoffed at having to interview.

I wish Zook was actually candidate for the job. that would be a great hire IMO.

Agreed or he's still pissy he didn't get the job when we hired coop

He's an idiot. There are no second chances.

That's surprising but no big deal

what does that even mean?

That Harvard apparently isn't what it used to be in the early 90s.

bullshite. In coaching, there are second, third and fourth chances every year.

I thought Harvard football was the Harvard of football?

Let's all calm down about this. I was hoping Corey would be interested & willing to interview for it, but it's his choice. So let's move on. Plenty of other candidates out there--it was not a must that LSU persuade Corey to take that position. Greg Jackson seems like an interesting candidate and Steele would be okay as well. There is a lot of talent at DB, so they will help any coach look good.

What a kick in the nuts. His Alma Mater comes calling and he says no thanks.
Hope Les knows what he's doing?

Hmm... Harvard has football and they suck. Not sure why he wouldn't want to leave if that were the case.

He's all up Pelini's butt. We're better off getting someone who has the WANT to be a DB coach at the greatest university this side of the Mississippi.I like the possibility of getting Greg Jackson first and foremost.

Yea he seems pissed to be public like this. Greg Jackson all the way IMO.

Maybe he didn't want to come down and interview and then not get it. That wouldn't look too good in Nebraska.
I think in a lot of these situations, they give the candidate a behind the scenes hint how good ther chances are and let them "decline" to save face with their current employer.
