So the front splitter and rear wing are gone, is the car of tomorrow now the car of yesterday?

You never know with Nascar, but the wing has been gone since it caused cars to fly during wrecks

splitter is still there just like it is this year. they just brought the front valence further out so that it covers 95% of the splitter. Im pretty sure it was like that last year as well

Are those just for the Nationwide Series like the new body styles were last year?

This car is for the Cup series. The Mustang is the Nationwide car.

Dodge will continue to run the Charger nameplate, and the car will be officially debuted March 11th when NSCS rolls into Vegas. This is a picture Jaski posted of the supposed 2013 body, but you can't really tell much.
Rumor is that Chevy may swap out the Impala for the Malibu badge. MotorTrend had a first look at the 2013 Malibu a few months back and mentioned an SS badging. This is the concept photo for the actual street version.

NASCAR shouldn't let a manufacturer run a body style/model unless it come with a V8 in the production model. Either that or make Toyota and Ford run in NASCAR with V6 engines.
