Not since Ron Zook have I ever seen a fanbase that eats it's young like we do

Thanks to some dbs their Mardi Gras float made the cover of yahoo this morning.
Saban with a Superman shirt on and with Les Miles with a goofball look on his face. If you were an opposing coach would you use this in recruiting?
Hell I would. Do you want to play for this guy? Hell his own fans think he's an idiot!!!

Honestly no. I feel like i would never bash other schools but rather promote my own school. If my sales pitch wasn't good enough without badgering the competition than so be it. I can't even imagine how dogging another school's fanbase would come up naturally in conversation with a recruit.

The only thing that I don't like about this is the way LSU fans have immortalized Saban just as much as Bama fans have......

Fans rant when we break down!
Remember the "clock it," at Ole Miss?
Remember the Tennessee debacle in Tiger Stadium?
Remember the first half of SEC-CG?
Remember the BCSNCG?
Our fans are miffed, not perfect, but disappointed at what "sometimes," comes across as sheer incompetence.
Zook? Florida felt uncomfortable with Zook, because he did not have the "wherewithal" to run the Gator Program. Even with winning seasons, they got rid of him and hired Meyers. Meyers never elicited a "universal loathing and dread," as was seen with Zook. Like LSU fans, the Gators did not intend to abide by incompetence, perceived or real.
I provided the "recent Miles glaring examples," that caused our fans to go ballistics. That is not all, that cause the discomort.
I do not want our program to suffer, whether it be real or perceived. I want us to come across as well managed.
Fans simply want to have fun and party, and feel comforted that our program is well disciplined and well managed, with GREAT attention to detail.
If the fans are not "feeling it," it is best to ask "WHY," instead of cursing the protestations. I want a kik-azz-Tiger-Team, with kik azz coordinators, free to sideline coach, what they prepared to do in practice!!! If the BCSNCG was "as practiced," I think that is sheer insanity! Go Tigers!!!

I have come to the conclusion we have an ignorant segment of our fan base that will never be satisfied.
