Manning is in contention with Golden to be the best DT in Texas. Down to an OU/LSU battle with him and his older brother is DeMarcus Granger, old DT at OU.

Well we absolutely need some DT's in this class. Hopefully we get an early start with this guy. Good gene pool with Granger.

Why would Justin Manning go to the same school as a lesser recruit?
Hines is not exactly a top porspect with offers from Texas, LSU, and OU.

Helping one of his teammates and probably good buddies get some more attention.
Hines isn't bad but is a little of a tweener. Would probably be an OLB which we took a lot of last year.
But if Hines brings us Manning, so be it

Kimball is another school, like Skyline in Texas that always puts out Division I prospects. Great school to get involved with, just have to avoid Flenory there
