Coming from a fan of another team, I'm happy to see Chad back, and also glad to see the Giants signed him to an extension. Between CJ and Herzlich, I think it's hard to find a classier organization than the Giants.

This is not true.

A bunch of people are reporting that Chad Jones has been cleared to play. That is not 100% true. Jones' doctor has cleared him, the Giants doctor's have not, meaning until the Giants doctors clear him, he will not be eligible to practice with the team.

He didn't sign an extension ... they restructured his deal to lower his salary for 2012 and 2013.

Nice of the Giants actually since most teams would have just cut him with no settlement.

However it's starting to look like he actually may make a come back ... amazing story for sure.
