Chicken, may I promote a New Orleans themed T-shirt?

Chicken,
Through the Fark board, I share my LSU artwork with this site's audience. I appreciate the number of people this site allows me to reach.
I have a shirt design up for voting on the shirt website, Threadless and I wanted to know if I could post the link on the Fark board? While the voting is free, if the shirt gets approved, that site will sell an image featuring that design and I will receive finacial compensation. As it against board rules to promote personal products, this may be unacceptible.

Yes, I believe you must have a Threadless account to vote. It's a free registration and all it takes is an email address. You can also select to not be contacted by the site. I understand that might deter people from voting.

People post all of the time to get people to vote for some contest. I wouldnt think this is any different
