Is he worth a mid to bottom first and a second round player or pick?

Late first and an expiring.

He's a solid expiring contract and contributor, but I don't see us getting more than a low first or second for him at this point. I don't think any team sees him as the guy that puts them over the hump this year, which is where we'd find the most value.

I'd be happy to get a first and an expirer out the deal. 14 mil is a lot of coin so I assume we would take back some salary if we do deal him.

I'd be happy to extend him. Dude can play basketball and we'd have the 5 spot pretty locked down.

Depends on his asking price.

If he will sign for cheap I say resign him and trade oak. If not I would expect a first round pick and an expiring contract.

why would he sign for cheap, he's a good player. Good players get compensated.

Hard to tell at this point. The two teams I'd be most interested in making a deal with are Houston (NYKs 1st or Patterson or Lee), and San Antonio (they have a few nice young players that have been playing well this year).
