The ATL Thread Fantasy Baseball League Preseason Thread: Draft Order Included

Tentative draft is scheduled for Wed Mar 21 7:00pm CDT.
Bold indicates who has paid.
Paid in full:

I am setting up league safe later tonight, dues will be 20 again unless participants would like to increase it. Will use the same payout formula as the football league.

Only about half the football league choose to make their e-mail addresses viewable, I am having to go back through my g-mail for the others. I know I am missing one more that I need to get from the other league. I just sent you one, I believe.

Let's come up with our keeper rules before the season starts this go round.
Heck, we still don't know our football keeper rules.
The more the better though IMO. I say 8-10 keepers, 3 year maximum.

I like that we are using OPS and QS. What do you think about K/9 instead of K's?

I think baseball is so much more different than football cause of the minors. Not a fan of limits in baseball.

Wish the frickers in the league with my friends would lean this way. Had this vote in our keeper league the last 3 years and it never gets passed.

I've been pushing QS and OPS for several years in my money league as well. Came close this year on OPS vote. QS is so much better than W. I hate Wins as a category.

There is not a single argument in the favor of wins, but I still can't get it passed. Pisses me off.

There is just no consistency in Wins. A pitcher can throw a complete game shut out and not get a win, or they can throw 5ip and give up 6 runs and get a win.
Their argument against QS is that Wins is a part of baseball. Also, they say that pitching 6 innings and giving up 3er is a 4.5 era. You shouldn't get rewarded for that. These guys are just stuck in their ways I guess and are opposed to most change. They are idiots. I guess that's why I usually do well in this league.
