I don't. I've met a lot of people from other fan bases who still come up to me to tell me we had a great season. I have to admit to them that Bama was the better team but it still doesn't take away from the great season and team we had. What we achieved was pretty phenomenal. Looking at all the returners next year, I've replaced the hurt with optimism/homerism.

In about a month, I'll be ready to watch last year's highlight clips I think.

I tweeted in to SVP's show (he was doing a segment on what athlete people hated as a kid) and as I didn't really have one I just told him who I hated now.

I won't say it because it's "Just My" opinion if you catch my drift..

I used to be a mainstay on the SEC rant, but can't now because I cannot fathom looking at pictures from that game that the gumps use as their avatars.

it's hard to get over being embarrassed like lsu was. out coached out played and run off the field. i still am upset with miles having the talent he had and getting smoked like he did.

Could you add some clarity.

I've started viewing topics now. Next steps will be to bash/insult Arkansas fans because hey, we owned them pretty bad. I need more time before I start combating the Gumps over there. They got us pretty good.

yep. almost seems like ppl are taking for granted that we'll be back next yr. but that shite hurts. that team, that 13-0 team that could overcome anything and smacked around anybody not named Bama, wasn't supposed to lose like that. and with Les looking like he gave up.

It doesn't hurt anymore, but I am still pissed that LSU showed up at that game with no real change in gameplan and no backup plan for if Bama was able to stifle the running game.

I also don't like how the players are coming out against the coaches a little. No adjustments being made, constant references to the plays that were practiced not being called.

I managed to have my first full length conversation about the game last week. It sucked and I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon. Yes, I am massively butthurt still.

I borrowed an Alabama flag and took a shite on it. I felt a lot better.

i avoided all communications, articles, boxscores for a few weeks.

then i finally manage to come over here and read a few threads and immediately an LSU fan randomly mentions the yardage for both teams in that "game"... yech! now i know the stat. i was purposely avoiding it.

or short answer: yes

Sure...but in a purely, "Dammit...I can't believe we let that get away," type of way.

Programs don't get tons of chances to run the table like that, after having had THAT type of season. It's hard to look forward to how great I assume 2012 will be knowing we were THIIIIIIIIIIIS close to capping one of the greatest seasons in college football history.

I still hurt about it, but I've never lost my shite or felt the need to rehash it for weeks on end or toss blame at anyone. None of that will make the clock roll back...we'll never get January 9th, 2012 ever again. Might as well move on and be positive about 2012.
