Houston Midtown Eats

Anybody have any recommendations for new restaurants in midtown?
Tried BlackFinn on Bagby for the first time. Their build out was very nice and the menu had great variety. Unfortunately, the food was nothing overwhelming. Looks like a great happy hour place.
I've been to the standard places such as Damian's, Brennan's, Reef, and Ibiza. Looking for something new and tasty.
