Official Guide to not leaping of the RB ledge:

• (Janzen Jackson Theory)- Almost always, entire recruiting classes never pan out for individual schools. Retention/attrition is a common aspect of college football. Please realize people, not all of our signees will ever dress in purple in gold; same goes for other schools who “stole” our recruits. And even if they do play at some point, there is no guarantee that they will contribute over a long period of time.
• (Alley Broussard Theory)-Too much talent can be a bad thing. If this wasn’t case, then explain why Texas isn’t in the top 5 EVERY year. You can only put 11 on the field at a time, and no matter what, whoever is on the bench is pissed.
• (Joe McKnight Theory)- I would much rather a recruiting class of slightly above average players who love LSU and the LSU football program than a recruiting class of 5 star studs who love themselves. Please remember, that these are 17-18 year olds we are talking about. If I was that age and got all of the attention/cajoling of a highly touted recruit, I couldn’t promise I wouldn’t be a d-bag either.
• (Hester/Claiborne/Mathieu Theory)-The most overlooked aspect of recruiting: it is an in-exact science. Big stars don’t always equal talent, small star don’t always mean failures.
• (MTB Theory)-Its Les Miles we’re talking about here. Crack a beer and chill the hell out, he will figure out a way to win at least 10 or more games a year.

But but but. We lost the one game that mattered.
I'm done with letting 18 yo's upset me anymore. I'm down with cracking a beer and watching Les do his thing.
