Unfortunately the successful coaches are pretty much jackasses. Saban was at LSU and he got results out of a program that had been dormant for a decade.
Miles might come across nice on field and in public, but behind closed doors he does lay down the law.
Go ask former players about Skip Bertman - dude was a jackass but got results.
Laval was not - he damn near destroyed the baseball program.
